Advanced Marketing Solutions, LLC is looking for sales professionals with at least 2-3 years prior history in sales w/ no criminal history and are proficient in Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, Adobe Programs Master Suite CS3 (ie Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc), all of the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite, Microsoft XP Professional, MS Vista Business, and proficient working as a CAL on the SBS 2003. Also should posess good people skills, the ability to meet sales quotas for the week/month, and able to pick up new accounts that will generate repeat business, as well as be on call to take care of their exisiting accounts at any given time, should they need something.
Pay - Dependent upon Experience, Ability to show proficiency in all of the programs listed above and/or we are always looking for new, inventive and creative ways to design marketing materials as well as new sales techniques. All new employees on the Sales side will be issued brand new Dell Precision Mobile Workstations and their own workcenter at our office and will be expected to work overtime if needed, but never holidays or Sundays. At AMS, the President, J. Trent Vines, is a firm believer in Sunday being a day for rest and relaxation, or family time, or time to spend doing whatever is important in your life. Once established with AMS, you will have the ability to take the workstations home and work from home as long as all of your accounts are taken care of, and most of the time, we work solely on commission with a base pay which shall be determined at time of interview.
After a 90 day probation period, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Insurance will be offered either free of charge or for a highly discounted rate (dependent upon whether or not employee is insuring individual or entire family) and a 401K Account will be opened and 1.1% of all commissions will be placed in the 401(k) and should you leave AMS anytime in the future, your 401(k) may be cashed out, or carried on, whichever is your preference. We deal solely with Edward Jones on IRA's and 401(k) plans at this point in time, but at any time during or post-employment with AMS, you are more than welcome to change.
We also have another way of hiring, which works completely different than does the above listed method of employment. Provided you have your own equipment and are authorized by an officer of AMS, you may sell under our name and log onto our database, but you will be 1099'ed at the end of the fiscal year and there is NO guaranteed pay and no benefits are offered through this program. We mainly offer this for our freelance designers who are more interested in opening their own firm in the future, but a contract will be signed stating that they arre not to take our customers with them at the time of their termination. Should they go voluntarily, I have no problem with it, but advertising that they should switch to their new company while wearing my branded shirts, equipment, or working under my name, I prohibit the use of AMS, LLC or any of it's resources or permissions given at time of employment to be used in any manner whatsoever to recruit new customers at the time of departure with AMS. I would prefer to not have any employees working under these terms, but some prefer to work with their own equipt and software, aka Macintosh, but I will not furnish any software for make any special accomodations for the Mac at this point in time. This may be open for discussion later down the road. We are currently in desperate need on a very well trained or very knowledgeable individual to take on some part to full-time computer jobs for our company as well as for some of our customers who we host sites for and our clients who are seeking new newtwork setup for their businesses and I will discuss pay with you at thei time of interview, but I'm a very generous boss and I don't expect anyone to wake up and come to work everyday for barely enough money to feed their kids, so I will pay you well, provided you have the expertise and training needed to accomplish the goals I have set forth for AMS, as well as meet the needs of our customers on a promised time-frame, even if it means putting in some long days here and there to meet deadlines, because if we can't be honest with our customers, who can we be honest with?? I do allow time for the usual computer glitches, errors, and typical installation problems, but our last tech guy wasn't meeting the demands of our customers or company, so I need someone who is drug-free, willing to work, and is knowledgable enough to troubleshoot server issues in-house for AMS, LLC as well as for our clients who hire us to install their computer systems, whether it be building them a single PC to wiring a building for 30 PCs with a large rack server and possibly either ordering or building 30 workstations and customizing each one for each employee.. It varies from job to job and I need someone who has some experience and most of all the knowledge of where to start troubleshooting when there are clean install problems with the CALs and things of that nature.. What they teach you in school is very valuable information and can make or break your career, but nothing beats hands-on experience and we love having interns.. We don't treat you like our gaffers either.. :) There's enough work in this field to go around and we're very aware you didn't go to school for all of those years to learn to serve the boss his coffee the way he likes it. I like to have interns in the field with my sales guys, therefore for instance a 6mo. intern would probably spend 2-3 months with a trained professional (upon his approval) then move to see how many sales leads he/she can generate after being taught a few tricks of the trade..
